Quiet Murree: Bhurban, Patriata and Lower Topa Stays
Away from the weekend crowds on Mall Road: where to stay in Murree for pine forest, valley views and silence.
Many visitors only see Mall Road. If you want pine forest and silence, look a little further out.
Bhurban
Greener and more spread out than the town, with golf, resort scenery and wide valley views. A good choice for families who want space, parking and quiet mornings.
Patriata (New Murree)
Known for its chairlift and cable car. The views across the hills are some of the best in the area, and it is a short drive from the main town.
Lower Topa and Ghora Gali
Smaller communities with less traffic and often the best forest outlooks. They suit couples and anyone who simply wants to rest.
What to look for
- Heating and hot water, which matter in every season.
- A living room you will want to sit in when it is cold outside.
- Parking and a clear road up to the door.
- A kitchen, so you are not driving to dinner after dark.
How to plan
Stay mid-week if you can, since weekends are busy everywhere. Keep one evening free for doing nothing, which is the whole point of the quiet side of Murree.
